🩻 Hold your phone like this if you want to live

and a live webinar!

Quick announcement:

This Wednesday at 9am Pacific, I’m going LIVE on zoom with Bryan Harris (CEO of Growth Tools).

He’s going to be sharing how you can Turn Your Personal Growth Into A $10k Coaching Offer.

Why?

Because when you truly experience transformation, there is nothing more natural than the desire to turn and help others experience that same transformation.

But with 82% of coaches failing in the first 3 years, how do build a truly profitable business and avoid becoming just another sad statistic?

My posture suuuucks.

Most days, this is me:

And if I’m standing, I often still look like this:

Which makes my neck hurt.

And makes my back hurt.

Also, might sound weird, but it legit makes me feel sad.

And it’s not cause I’m just addicted to social media. (Though I do watch YouTube here and there)

In my day job, I work on my laptop and phone ~8hrs/day, ~40hrs/wk.

So it’s hard to get away from.

I do use a standing desk - which certainly helps.

But like I said, even standing often leaves my neck craning down to see my phone screen.

So what the heck is a guy supposed to do?

(Aside from throwing my phone in the lake)

The answer is so simple it feels stupid.

But it didn’t really hit me till I read about this guy who almost died because of his posture.

Bryan Johnson is this crazy (awesome) dude who’s dedicated his life to… well.. not dying?

His whole life is the embodiment of health and anti-aging.

Anyways, one day he and his team discovered through a scan that his poor posture was actually cutting off blood circulation to his brain, putting him at risk for a stroke or seizure.

Turns out that slouch is potentially deadly!

So among other exercises, he simply started holding his phone differently.

Ideally, if you don’t need to use your phone - don’t.

But if you absolutely do, just practice holding your phone up, keeping your head level, and relieving that pressure from your neck.

Might feel goofy at first, but I’d rather feel a bit goofy than deal with the side effects of sucky posture the rest of my life.

You know it won’t change over night… but you’ve only got 2 options:

  1. Forget about it, let your posture suck for the rest of your life

  2. Do something about it

Which will you choose?
