🐻‍❄️ The best habit tracker. Ever.

and why it’s the last one you’ll ever need

Finally got out mountain biking again yesterday, then spent about 5 hours doing yard work, and finished the night watching kokanee salmon jump at the lake with my kiddos.

This week’s habit example is more of a habit tool. You’re gonna love it!

Habit Example

.

On and off for 7 years I’ve used an app aptly called “Streaks”, where it tracks — you guessed it — your habit streaks.

A few times I amounted streaks of over 100 days in a row… but life happens, I’d miss a single day suddenly be back to the starting line.

It’s like a punch to the gut seeing all your progress vanish and have to start again from zero.

I like the idea of doing a habit every day without ever missing, but it just isn’t realistic 100% of the time. (especially if you have kids)

Not to mention, it’s a pretty inaccurate depiction of how progress works.

Do you really think that progress starts all over again after just one tiny mistake?

I certainly don’t subscribe to that belief, but I didn’t have a good alternative until 4 months ago when I found Polar Habits.

Polar Habits is a guilt-free habit tracker.

Instead of severely punishing you for anything less than perfection, it encourages overall momentum and bounce-backs.

A bit more like this:

.

Despite missing a number of days, the overall momentum is a solid upward trajectory.

A few misses are just tiny, almost imperceptible blips in the grand scheme of things.

And doesn’t that just feel right?

That overall progress and momentum carries more weight than a single isolated mistake?

Here’s a few of my own habits I’ve been tracking since April:

This is not a sponsored post - I’m just here telling you as a friend that this is by far the best habit tracker I’ve ever used.

It’s simple.

Intuitive.

Motivating.

What more could you ask for?

Ditch the streaks, and embrace long term momentum with Polar Habits.
