a not so normal habit example
Quick share before todayās Habit Example!
My friend Robby Fowler just released his āIdea to Incomeā guide for solopreneur coaches, consultants, and fractional advisors to take their course, program, or offer from idea to income in one weekāwithout going it alone.
Itās cool, cause he helps you:
Flesh out your offer in under an hour
Get your first students with NO tech required
Generate income by next week
The best part? Youāll validate your idea FASTāwithout wasting time or money!
Robby has helped lots of coaches and consultants launch successfully, and this guide captures his best insights.

On December 31st, 12 days ago, I woke up to a chill day. No real plans other than hanging out with family to celebrate the start of the new year.
Happy kids, happy wife, happy life.
But then we did a thing.
My wife convinced me to go look at a house for sale in her parentsā neighborhood.
āSureā, I thought. Iāll look at it. Whatās the worst that could happen?
Welp, 12 days later and that one decision has caused the craziest week (or so) of my life.
19+ hour work days. Going to bed at 2am every night, to still wake up at 6 or 7am every day and work my day job too. Oh, except for the two nights I pulled āall-nightersā just to keep working and get our projects done in time to list our house on the market by our deadline.
Imagine thereās an ultra marathon for home renovationsā¦ thatās basically what we just did.
All because we fell in love with that house we saw. I was 100% against itā¦ until I stepped through the door.
And let me be clear - the house needs WORK. Iām talking years of blood sweat and tears to pretty it up. But we saw the vision of what our life could be there, and have been working our tails off to finish remodeling our own home in order to sell it and buy this one.
Though I canāt possibly share all the details, miracles, and lessons learned that have occurred in the last 12 days in this email, I do want to share just a few things that have been on my mind.
As weāve thanked God daily for the miracles that are happening to us to make buying this house even in the realm of possibility, we are continuing to see more miracles and blessings fall in our lap every day. So give thanks. Even when bad things are happening.. thereās always something good to be grateful for. And expect miraclesā¦ theyāre already on their way!
99% of all the miracles happening for us right now are have come directly from other peopleās kindness. Friends and family showing up to offer help. A guy at the paint store giving us 10 gallons of paint for free. A neighbor we barely know showing up with dinner. The list goes on and on and on. Be kind. You never know what kind of miracle you might be for someone else.
You are living in the life youāve built. If you want something different, you *can* change it. There are countless excuses not to do something, and an infinite number distractions that are more funā¦ but if you arenāt afraid of hard work, you can build anything, develop any skill, go anywhere, and do virtually anything your heart desires. But only if youāre truly, wholly, completely convicted of that thing.
You make plans, but Godās are always better. We werenāt planning to move. We love our house, our neighbors, our gardenā¦ so many things about our life. but when this opportunity showed up, we felt God was showing us an open door ā if we wanted it. Donāt be afraid of Godās plans when they show up for you. Move forward in faith!
Absolutely unbelievable, even impossible things can happen when people come together. One week ago we lived in a 3 bedroom house. Itās now 4 bedrooms, with a newly remodeled bathroom and laundry room that was all done just this week without hiring a single contractor. (shoutout to you, Chad!) Invest time, effort, and love into building relationships and you will be receive so much more back.
Is this a habit example? Not really.
Could I come up with some creative, convoluted way to twist this into a habit example? Probably.
But I donāt really care. This was simply the message weighing on my heart tonight, and I pray God speaks to you through it and thereās something helpful here to guide you in your own life right now.
