🙂 You have 288 of these per day
Use ‘em or lose ‘em
It’s Saturday! Usually this comes on Tuesday.
I’m 4 days late.
But just like any habit… consistent is better than perfect.
So while I missed a Tuesday, I’ve still never missed a week 😉
Enjoy!

You have 288 sets of 5 minutes.
Every. Single. Day.
You sleep through 96 of them.
Work or study through another 96.
And you’re left with 96 for everything else.
96 opportunities.
What do you do with them?
I just saw this video the other day that Gen Z is currently on track to spend 93% of their free time throughout the rest of their life in front of a screen.
How absolutely tragic!
When it only takes 5 minutes (or less) to go on a walk around the block.
Or talk to God.
Or give someone a hug.
Or read a few pages of a book.
Or call an old friend just to say hi.
Or close your eyes to breathe or meditate.
Or find shapes in the clouds, or constellations at night.
Or do that tiny project you’ve been putting off for months.
Or pick up your guitar that’s been collecting dust for a while now.
Or… or… or…
When you look back on your life, some of the greatest moments, the core memories, happened in less than 5 minutes.
Also, most of the transformational habits to become your best self tend to take 5 minutes or less.
So whether you’re like me and sometimes struggle to take a 5 minute break from work to push your kid on the swing…
…or you let the YouTube algorithm get the best of you…
Just stop.
Right now.
For 5 minutes.
And do something that brings you joy.
Something the “you” from the future will be proud to look back on.
Something that helps you become the “you” you’ve always wanted to be.
