If you even occasionally follow the news, it feels like the world is always on fire.

But even though it FEELS like the world is on fire… is it actually?

Elon Musk recently talked in an interview about how much the news has drastically changed over the last 200 years.

Not long ago, the only news you’d ever hear about was from your own village.

Now, the news literally notifies us of the worst things happening on the planet.

Every. Single. Day.

No wonder we’re all so anxious and depressed!

You and I are getting way more than our fair share of bad news.

Which doesn’t help at all when we also fall into the “availability bias”.

In this case, that just means that since most of the headlines we can remember are bad ones, we believe almost everything happening in the world is bad.

(aka, it feels like the world is on fire)

But what if we’re just being disproportionately served bad news in excess, and good news far too little?

So is there a lot of crap going on in the world? Obviously.

But there’s also more good happening in the world than ever before.

And at the end of the day, you’re 100% in control of what news you subscribe to.

If you wanna see the good in the world… look for it.
